ICS Cadet, Junior High CYO athletes in action

ICS cadet and Junior High CYO ath­letes trav­eled to Find­lay 5–1– to com­pete with area teams.
The junior high girls results: Kylie Vogel took 1st in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:09, and Delaney Davis tak­ing 4th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:17. Michaela Fox took 1st in the 800 meter run with a time of 3:07. The junior girls 800 meter relay team of Katie Ball, Davis, Fox and Vogel placed 2nd with the time of 2:11.
In field events Vogel place 2nd in the long jump leap­ing 13’6”, Davis took 5th jump­ing 11’8 1/2”. Fox placed 4th in high jump clear­ing 4”0”. Katie Ball placed 2nd in shot throw­ing 26’1 1/2” and 2nd in dis­cus throw­ing 64’3”. Tabitha Hossler placed 6th in shot throw­ing 22’ 1/2”.
The junior high boys results: Justin Wid­man took 5th in the 400 meter dash with a time of 1:12.16, and a step behind was Bran­don Hay­ward plac­ing 6th with a time of 1:12.87. Wid­man also placed 2nd in the 800 meter run with a time of 2:55.28. The junior high boys 400 meter relay team of Max Fitzger­ald, Danny Ivory, Kevin Smith and Wid­man placed 3rd at 58:88. The boys 800 meter relay team of Fitzger­ald, Hay­ward, Ivory and Win­ston Schaf­fer came in 3rd at 2:11:31.
In field events Kevin Smith placed 5th leap­ing 15’1”. In high jump Fitzger­ald placed 5th jump­ing 4’4”.
In girls cadet 4th– 6th grade events Jamie Vogel placed 6th with a time of 1:22 in the 400 meter dash. Plac­ing 4th in the 800 meter run was Mckenna Davis at 3:24 fol­lowed by Megan Coan with a time of 3:26. The 400 meter relay team of Payten Vogel, Jamie Vogel, Bella Natole and Mag­gie Gyurke placed 4th with a time of 1:10.78. The 800 meter relay team of Gyurke, Coan, Natole and M. Davis place 5th at 3:26. The team of Katie Fought, Madi­son Bru­gone, Eliz­a­beth Harper and Syd­ney Did­ion placed 4th in the 800 meter med­ley relay at 3:09.
In field events the long jump had P. Vogel plac­ing 2nd leap­ing 11’11”, J. Vogel placed 4th with 10’3” and M. Davis placed 5th at 9’6”. In shot Harper took 5th throw­ing 20’3” and also placed2nd in dis­cus throw­ing 45’8”.
In boys cadet 4th-6th grade events in the 400 meter dash 1st went to Bryce McMur­ray at 1:14, 3rd to George Schaf­fer at 1:19 and 6th to Kay­den Vogel at 1:21. Joe Vogel took 3rd in the 100m dash with a time of 15.32, and Hunter Sin­gle­ton took 6th at 15.65. Jacob Holmer placed 6th in the mile at 6:47. K. Vogel also took 6th in the 800 meter run at 3:03. Plac­ing 3rd in the 200 meter dash was Jimmy Davis with the time of 33:34 and 5th in the 200 was H. Sin­gle­ton at 34.0. The boys 400 meter relay team of Perry Haynes, Jimmy Davis, McMur­ray and H. Sin­gle­ton placed 3rd with the time of 1:02:13. The 800 meter relay team of Izaak Holmer, G. Schaf­fer, Nathan Fox and J. Holmer placed 3rd clock­ing 2:25. The boys 800 meter med­ley team of J.J. Sumser, Dal­ton Tiel, Har­man Hossler and Tris­tan Sin­gle­ton placed 4th at 2:42.
In field events in the long jump J. Vogel took 2nd jump­ing 13’4” and J. Davis placed 4th with a jump of 12’8”. In high jump J. Vogel took 4th clear­ing 3’10”. I. Holmer placed 5th in shot throw­ing 24’9” and 2nd in dis­cus throw­ing 56’9”.
